Steve previously showed us how to do this in Outlook 2013 in his article: How to Add and Remove Weather Locations in Outlook 2013 Calendar And now with Windows Phone 8.1, not only has the calendar interface been revamped, you can also set it to display the weather forecast directly in the calendar on each day. it’s just shows the basics – the high temperature and if it’s rainy, cloudy, or sunny. But that extra information is always good to know, especially when planning outside events.
Weather in Windows Phone 8.1 Calendar
To make the weather to display on each day in the calendar, go to Calendar > Settings then scroll down to Preferences. Then check the box next to Use my location to show the weather and suggested places.
That’s all there is to it. Knowing what the weather forecast is when scheduling outdoor events is beneficial. While it doesn’t seem like a big revolutionary feature, it’s the small niceties that can make all the difference when using devices daily.
